The Super-est of Bowls

Yes, we just returned from a "pre-birthday bash" for the Budman in London...great weekend weather and a lovely time was had by all. Our return flight was a bit late, but no worries, as the Super Bowl coverage on Sky Sports starts at 11:30 pm Germany time. Yes, we will be watching it live with you all, but I am doubtful we will stay awake to the end...3:30 am our time.

The most troubling thing about this year's Super Bowl was the half-time show (or lack thereof - sorry, if you are a Prince fan). Again, though, I am shocked as I turned on Sky Sports coverage of this annual sports extravaganza for "their" version of pre-game hype. Who do we have in-studio except Don Johnson (of Miami Vice fame)? OK, I know the game is set this year in Miami but really...what stimulating sports commentary can Don add to the football discussion?

I guess Don had free time on his schedule, what with his Sunday matinee show of Guys and Dolls (in London's West End) concluded for the day. Must have saved Sky Sports some expenses...Don already being in town ...right!
