Paris Marathon Training: Week 5 of 18
Today’s target run: 2 hours, 23 minutes
Today’s completed run: no 2 hours, 23 minutes
Best of intentions, but the long training run just wore me out. More tomorrow.

A somewhat bumpy journey from Waxahachie, Texas to Seoul, S. Korea, to Taipei, Taiwan to Dusseldorf, Germany...and now to LONDON, UK. Grab your passport and come along for the journey.....

how are you already up to 2.5 hours of run time?
i'm thinking of going to the gym today. maybe i should order a pizza, for moral support.
Ah...the beauty of a marathon schedule. I was already operating from a base of 1 to 1.5 hour long runs, so it is easier to build up from there. This week, I actually drop my long run back down by 20 minutes or so, before I increase the long runs again for the next 3 weeks, followed by another small decrease, etc. Using Hal Higdon or Bob Glover's training schedule...can't remember which one. The problem last Sunday came that I did all these chores AFTER the long run that kept me on my legs all day Sunday.....
yes, please order the pizza.
