The recent outbreak of foot and mouth disease in the UK and the arrival of summer throughout England apparently fall behind the lead news story(ies) of the weekend: (1) the commencement fo the UK football season (soccer for "us yanks") is imminent...and I mean, right around the corner. You either apparently love it or hate it, and (2) England blasted Wales in Saturday's rugby match.
Ah yes, priorities are where they should be...or so I've been told.
