There is a reason the blog has been silent and dark....and no, it was not due to a marathon race issue (that went just fine on the day...more to come).
No, the day after the London marathon, I rushed home to Texas to care for an elderly aunt who had experienced a massive stroke. A once vibrant woman, self directed, active 76 year old retired physician has been battling the effects of a stroke for 4 weeks now. Prayers appreciated for recovery and for family and friends caring for her interests.
Needless to say, 8 days out and back to the States resulted in little or no blog time nor marathon updates.
Will post the race summary and results tomorrow.
