On the tenth day of Christmas...

...we officially kicked off the "year of the Christmas West End show extravanganza"!  Since the Budman and I are not flying to Texas for the holidays, our Christmas "stay-vacation" will be in London.  And do we have the activities planned or what?!  There are a slew of shows we have tickets for...can't wait.

First up in the rotation: Tennesse Williams' Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, with James Earl Jones, Phylicia Rashad, and Adrian Lester as well as directed by Debbie Allen.  Being a fan of Williams, and this play in particular, I was thrilled to be able to see this stellar cast in London.  I was not disappointed.

What did disappoint was the fact that for the first ten minutes after the play started, late-comers were allowed to come into the theater, crawl over those who had arived early/on time, and generally be noisy as they settled into their seats. Come on folks...it's called a watch.

On a separate note, today kicked off the first of four team lunches...isn't part of Christmas eating your way through the holiday? Today's turkey and dressing dinner was held at Stockley Park and will be the last one at this venue as the site closes in April. Thanks Ken, Faz, Cyn, and Andy for great conversation.
