A little trick for hard gingerbread

A helpful hint from Hachie Gal: If your gingerbread cookies have been sitting out a while and feel more like gingerbread “bricks”, no worries. I’ve a little secret to pass along.

Just put your gingerbread in a tupperware container, with a little dish of water next to the cookies. (In other words, don’t let the water and gingerbread mix). Seal the container, and let sit overnight. Next day, take out your gingerbread to find it is once again soft and edible.
