Well, we did get a little of that fall foliage after all

No real leaf peeping was available in Germany this year...not sure exactly why that was the case.

Luckily, another gorgeous day prevailed on the bus ride between Pisa and Padua, which allowed us some of that fall foliage we had been yearning for.





The only thing marring an otherwise perfect road trip was yet another pit stop at an Autogrill restaurant for lunch. I did not travel to Italy for road side fare, did I?
